FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - AGENCY PARTNERS
Financial Assistance for select CTE programs may be available to students who qualify through the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act via agency partners with LAUSD and ELAOC.

Financial assistance may include:
    • Tuition fees
    • Student ID fee
    • Books
    • Uniforms (if necessary)
    • Tools (if necessary upon completion of the program)
    • Transportation
    • HiSET fee (High School Equivalency Test)
    • Licensing fee
    • Certification Test fees
    • Boyle Heights Worksource Center

Financial assistance available for academic education and job training enrollees who:
    • Are over 18
    • Have a legal right to work in this country
    • Job search assistance:

    • Interview skills
    • Online job search and profile
    • Employability skills
    • Computer, Printer, Phone and Fax services

    • Archdiocesan Youth Employment

The Archdiocesan Youth Employment Services (AYE) of Catholic Charities LA has paid internships and career training opportunities for youth funding under our federal programs within the County of Los Angeles. Contact Guadalupe Gallegos of AYE at (323) 832-1225 for eligibility.

Program Requirements:
    • Ages 18 - 24 (or 17 year old HS Grad)
    • Have a legal right to work in this country
    • Live within certain zip codes
    • Considered low income by WIOA income guidelines

Services may include the following:
    • Financial assistant for advanced training
    • Childcare
    • Clothing (if needed for the job)
    • Transportation
    • Job preparation and job placement assistance with paid internships and on the job training
    • Paid internships consist of 160 hours per month at $12/hour.
    • Placements may be in area community centers, hospitals, clinics, day care centers, pre-schools, offices, courts and/or retain stores.
